Can I apply for a position that isn’t posted?
It’s recommended that you apply for current openings. If there is no current opening that meets your education, experience and skills please indicate an area of interest.
How do I know if a position has closed?
Once a candidate is selected the announcement will be removed from the website. Some positions, e.g. nurse and behavioral healthcare technicians, are considered continuous recruitment positions. Even if there are no current openings, applications are always accepted. Should an opening occur, recent applications will be reviewed and you may be contacted to determine your continued interest and availability.
How long do you keep my application on file?
Your application will be held in “active” status for a period of six months. You are encouraged to monitor the careers page of the website for new opportunities. If an opening occurs for which you meet the requirements and in which you are interested, you may contact human resources to inform us of your interest.
Must I fill out the job application in order to be considered for a position?
Yes, your signature on the application authorizes us to verify the information provided. You may supplement the job application with your resume and any other job-related documents. Please read the instructions carefully. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Resumes submitted without the application will be held for processing until receipt of the application.
What happens to my application/resume after it has been submitted to HR?
Human Resources reviews the information submitted to determine if you meet the minimum qualifications or criteria as described in the job posting. If you do, you may be contacted for additional information, e.g. is the schedule and/or salary acceptable. Your resume/application will then be forwarded to the hiring supervisor for further review. He or she may then make contact to schedule an interview.
Will I be contacted regarding receipt of my application?
Applications or resumes received via email will receive an automatically generated email response as receipt. Applications and resumes received through the mail, via fax or hand-delivered will not be acknowledged. We respectfully request that you not contact Human Resources regarding the status of your application.
