David Lawrence Centers invites you to our annual signature event, Sound Minds®, featuring actress, model, author, and entrepreneur Brooke Shields.

This moving and thought-provoking event will raise critical funding intended to provide access to care for children, families, and adults in our community.

John and Dr. Amy Quinn will serve as the 2024 Sound Minds chairs and their Fountain 33 Foundation is the presenting sponsor. The Sound Minds education partner is Naples Children & Education Foundation.

In a conversation with Sound Minds moderator Jennifer Trammell, Shields will deftly navigate between heartfelt and humorous. She will speak candidly with attendees about her career trajectory, life in the public eye and her own experiences as a mother.

Attendees will find Shields’ story resonates with their own lives, as she talks openly about finding the mental and emotional strength to live life to the fullest.

“This event not only shines a spotlight on mental health awareness, but also reminds us that mental health issues can impact anyone at any time,” said Sound Minds Chair Dr. Amy Quinn.

“The event is so powerful because it helps to reduce the stigma around talking openly about our struggles with mental health.”

Tickets for DLC’s signature Sound Minds Reception begin at $400 and include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and admission to the main program.

There is also a VIP experience option, with the opportunity to meet Brooke Shields and enjoy a Ritz-curated dinner with wine service, at $1,500.
