What’s Included in Our Residential Program
Crossroads delivers a holistic and evidence-based treatment experience designed to foster long-term recovery and personal growth. The program includes:
Our Five Core Educational Modules
The Crossroads Residential Program is built around five core educational modules that provide the knowledge, skills, and structure essential for lasting recovery.
- Disease Concept of Addiction: Learn how addiction affects the brain and body.
- Managing Thoughts, Feelings, and Behaviors: Use CBT techniques to build emotional resilience.
- Healthy Relationships: Improve communication and reduce codependent patterns.
- Recovery Maintenance: Identify relapse triggers and strengthen your recovery toolkit.
- Balanced Lifestyle: Explore mindfulness, goal setting, and values-based living.
Structured Daily Schedule
Our program runs from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and includes:
- Recreational therapy (yoga, fitness, swimming)
- Equine-assisted therapy and pet therapy (for eligible clients)
- Evening 12-step meetings with members of the local recovery community
Personalized Care Plan
Each client at Crossroads receives an individualized treatment plan based on their specific needs, the severity of their addiction, and any co-occurring mental health conditions. This plan guides the course of treatment, which includes daily individual and group therapy sessions designed to provide support, build coping skills, and promote lasting recovery.
Integrated Health and Wellness Support
As part of the holistic care at Crossroads, clients receive comprehensive health services that support both physical and mental well-being. This includes medication management coordinated by licensed medical staff and access to psychiatric consultation when needed to address co-occurring mental health concerns. Additionally, nutritional support is an essential component of recovery, with all meals prepared on-site and tailored to individual dietary needs by our nutritional services team, including a registered dietitian.
What To Expect During Your Stay
Clients live in shared, gender-specific rooms in a secure, supportive setting. Days are full but purposeful, with a blend of therapeutic work, wellness activities, and recovery meetings. From your first day, you’ll be part of a community focused on healing — free from distractions like cell phones and personal devices, which are securely stored upon admission.
The program is tobacco-free, but nicotine replacement support is available. You’ll work closely with counselors, medical staff, and peers, and begin building the skills and structure needed for life beyond treatment.
Family involvement is encouraged when appropriate, with designated Sunday visitation hours and additional accommodations for parents with young children.
