David Lawrence Centers Promotes Emily Budd to Director of Development

Naples, Fl – David Lawrence Centers (DLC), Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit mental health and addiction recovery treatment center serving children, adults and families, is pleased to announce the promotion of Emily Budd to Director of Development. In this new role, she is responsible for the planning, execution, and management for all fundraising activities, including major gifts, events, grant solicitations, donor relations, corporate partnerships, and planned giving.

Budd joined the DLC Constituent Relations team in 2017 as the Associate Director of Development specializing in event management, community partnerships, and strategic planning. Prior to joining DLC, she served as the Career Events and Marketing Coordinator for Florida Gulf Coast University, Executive Assistant to the CEO and Office Manager for Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, and Program and Events Coordinator for Champions for Learning.

Budd earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations with a minor in youth and nonprofit leadership from Murray State University in Kentucky. She is a graduate of the Leadership Collier Foundation Growing Associates of Naples (GAIN) Class of 2014.

Budd currently serves as the president for the Young Professionals of Naples. She is also active in the community, volunteering with organizations such as Grace Place for Children and Families, American Cancer Society, Naples Therapeutic Riding Center, The League of Courageous Women, Collier Honor Flight, and The Naples Winter Wine Festival.
