David Lawrence Centers Promotes Two Leaders

Naples, Fl – David Lawrence Centers, Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit mental health and addiction recovery treatment center serving children, adults and families, is pleased to announce the promotion of Natalie Garcia to Clinical Director of Access and Outpatient Services and Barbara Eppich to Manager of Accounts Receivable.

Garcia has served as a Clinical Director since 2014 responsible for outpatient mental health therapy services and access services. In this new role, she has assumed the additional responsibilities of outpatient medical services which includes the management and administrative oversight of the daily operations of the psychiatric medical team and medication management services for children and adults. This includes services provided by a team of child and adult psychiatrists, doctors of osteopathic medicine, advanced registered nurse practitioners, physician assistants and medical technicians which collectively represent the largest, most comprehensive psychiatric practice in Collier County.

Garcia is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She earned her bachelor of arts degree in psychology and her master of science degree in community counseling from Oklahoma State University. She joined David Lawrence Centers in 2005 as an Emergency Services Clinician, and has since served in various clinical and leadership positions including Discharge Planner, Emergency Services Supervisor and Outpatient Clinical Supervisor.

Under her leadership, Garcia has successfully launched innovative evidence-based practices included a new children’s partial hospitalization program, dialectical behavioral therapy, trauma incident reduction and most recently the suboxone outpatient medication-assisted therapy clinic.

Garcia has received several awards for her work during her time with David Lawrence Centers . She was awarded the Employee of the Year Award in 2008 and the Outstanding Leadership Award in 2013. Garcia was also recognized by the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Collier County as the Professional Partner of the Year in 2010.

Barbara Eppich joined David Lawrence Centers in 2016 as the Billing and Collections Specialist. In her new role, she will be responsible for the management and daily operations of the Accounts Receivable department managing client and insurance billings and collections. She will also oversee billing and coding standards to assure contract compliance.

Eppich has more than 30 years of experience in information technology, sales, customer service and accounting. Prior to joining David Lawrence Centers, she served as an Account Representative with Neuroscience and Spine Associates, Principal with EMR Solutions and Senior Project Manager, Project Manager and Senior Staff Engineer with Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG).

Eppich earned her bachelor of engineering degree in electrical engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey.
