DLC Young Executives Board of Directors Installs New Officers, Welcomes New Members

Naples, FL – David Lawrence Centers (DLC), Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit mental health and addiction recovery treatment center serving children, adults and families, is pleased to announce new leaders and members of its Young Executives Board of Directors. The Young Executives are a dedicated group of professionals charged with bringing the Center’s mission and message to a younger generation through advocacy, awareness, and fundraising.

The board recently announced the installation of the following new officers who will serve a one-year term:

Priscylla Oliva (shown at right), Executive Administrative Assistant of Barron Collier Companies, will serve as Chair. She has served on the Young Executives board since 2017. She previously served as Friendraiser Chair and participated on the Chip in for DLC Golf Tournament committee.

Priscylla received a bachelor of science degree in legal studies from Florida Gulf Coast University and is a 2016 graduate of the Leadership Collier Growing Associates of Naples (GAIN) program.

Priscylla is a member of the Naples Junior Woman’s Club and Committee Chair for Youth Leadership Collier.

Joseph Stusek, an Associate Attorney at Cummings & Lockwood LLC, will serve as Vice Chair. He has been a member of the Young Executives board since 2017 and is the Co-Chair of the 2018 Chip in for DLC Golf Tournament.

Joseph earned his bachelor of arts degree in economics and global politics from Washington & Lee University, his juris doctor degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law, and his master of law degree in taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

Peter Michaels, Associate for Halstatt Real Estate Partners, will serve as Secretary/Treasurer. He joined the Young executive Board in 2017 and is Co-Chair of the 2018 Chip in for DLC Golf Tournament.

Peter earned his bachelor of science in business management and his master of science in real estate from the University of Florida. He is a 2018 graduate of GAIN.

Peter is a member of Bergstrom Real Estate Council, Urban Land Institute and Young Professionals of Naples.

Allison Durian, Associate Director of the Naples Winter Wine Festival, will serve as Immediate Past Chair. Allison is a founding member of the Young Executives having joined the board in 2010. During her tenure, she served as Chair for a three year term and participated on the Chip for DLC Golf Tournament, Friendraisers, and Sunset Cruise for Mental Health committees.

Allison earned her bachelor of arts degree in communication arts and rhetoric from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania and is a 2014 graduate of GAIN.

Allison is a past board member of the Naples Junior Women’s Club and currently heads the board’s scholarship committee.

Additional board members include Casey Andress, Georgina Anton, Tyler McMackin, Courtney Smuder, and staff advisor Emily Budd.

Founded in 2010, the David Lawrence Centers Young Executives, are a group of young professionals who advocate for mental health and substance use awareness. DLC was the first non-profit in Collier County to recognize the need for a next-generation advocacy group.

The DLC Young Executives are dedicated to supporting the mission and vision of David Lawrence Centers, and are active in fundraising for the center. The DLC Young Executives are a proud member of the Leadership Collier Emerging Leader Council.

The Young Executives Board of Directors is the leadership that guides members in networking, fundraising, and leadership opportunities. The board also commits to special projects that assist in supporting the mission of David Lawrence Centers . Last fiscal year, the group raised $27,000 through a variety of events.

The Young Executives board recently launched a membership that is open to anyone interested in supporting the mission of David Lawrence Centers . The membership is a suggested $50 annual donation and includes membership perks such as discounted event tickets. Additional upcoming events include the Chip in for DLC golf tournament on October 26, the annual Sunset Cruise for Mental Health held in June, and a quarterly “Elevate Wellness Series,” which are themed around fitness and health activities.
