DLC Young Executives to Host Beach Yoga Class as Part of Elevate Wellness Series

DLC Young Executives to Host Beach Yoga Class as Part of Elevate Wellness Series

The DLC Young Executives is a group of young professionals dedicated to networking for a cause and supporting the mission of DLC. The yoga class marks the third event in the Wellness series, which aims to elevate personal health and wellbeing through physical activity, while also promoting awareness of mental health and substance use disorders in our community. Previous Elevate Wellness events included a healthy cooking demonstration and a personal fitness boot camp. The Young Executives have committed to hosting quarterly Wellness events each year.

For this Elevate Wellness event, the DLC Young Executives have teamed up with Jennifer Khosla, a local young professional and certified yoga instructor, to provide the class. Khosla is founder and CEO of Lean and Green Body, which specializes in holistic nutrition, yoga and personal training. The class is open to all community members and all fitness levels.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the holistic services provided to adults residing in the Crossroads inpatient detox and residential treatment programs. The Crossroads Addiction Recovery Treatment program empowers individuals to heal from addiction by offering affordable, quality, comprehensive and holistic treatment using the most innovative treatment methods available. These evidence-based wellness services utilized in Crossroads include physical training, yoga, equine therapy, and art therapy; they are not funded by insurance.

Registration is $25 per person. For more information regarding sponsorships or registration, contact David Lawrence Centers at (239) 304-3505, or visit DLCYoungExecutives.com.
