We offer an outpatient program for individuals who need structured support but need to maintain work, family, or school responsibilities, outpatient care offers an effective, personalized path to recovery. At David Lawrence Centers, our outpatient services provide multiple levels of care to meet each person where they are in their healing journey.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a structured treatment option for individuals facing moderate to severe substance use issues. This program is ideal for those who need more than weekly therapy but do not require 24/7 care.

Key Features

  • Flexible scheduling that allows clients to maintain work, school, or family commitments
  • Average duration: 6 to 8 weeks, personalized based on individual needs
  • Treatment includes:
    • Individual counseling
    • Psychoeducational group sessions
    • Referrals to 12-step or peer support groups

What You’ll Learn and Gain

  • Tools to understand and manage addictive thoughts and behaviors
  • Awareness of relapse triggers and how to respond in healthy ways
  • Improved emotional regulation and self-awareness
  • Skills to cope with co-occurring mental health conditions
  • Support in building a positive, sustainable recovery network

Pathways to Healing

The Pathways to Healing Program is a voluntary, structured day treatment program for adults age 18 and over. Services are designed to address both mental health and substance use challenges. We recognize that each individual is unique. Our goal is to provide the care, support and tools needed in finding pathways to healing.

Program Highlights:

  • Individual, Group, and Family Therapy
  • Holistic Wellness Groups
  • Psychological Empowerment Groups
  • Peer Support
  • Medication Management

Pathways to Healing meets Monday-Friday from 12:00pm – 5:00pm.  Lunch and snacks are provided daily.  

Additional Information

David Lawrence Centers’ Adult Substance Use Group offers a flexible yet structured approach to help individuals address addiction and reclaim control over their lives. This group is especially helpful for those whose substance use has led to serious life disruptions.

Program Details:

  • Evening sessions to accommodate work and personal schedules
  • Duration: 7 to 16 weeks, based on clinical need
  • Includes psychoeducational therapy focused on:
    • Understanding the biological, psychological, and social aspects of addiction
    • Learning relapse prevention strategies
    • Breaking through denial and identifying core problem areas
    • Building peer support in a safe, therapeutic group setting
