DAVID LAWRENCE CENTER ADDS ARNP SUSAN RESNIK TO ADULT OUTPATIENT MEDICAL SERVICES

Naples, Fl – The David Lawrence Centers, Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit mental health and substance use treatment facility serving children, adults and families, is pleased to welcome Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) Susan Resnik to Adult Outpatient Medical Services.

Resnik is certified as a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and has significant experience with psychiatric and dual diagnosis treatment throughout the state of Florida.

Prior to the David Lawrence Centers, Resnik worked as an ARNP in Outpatient Physician Services at SMA Behavioral Healthcare in Daytona Beach. She was also previously employed at LifeStream Behavioral Center, in Leesburg, where she treated adults, children/adolescents, and geriatric patients. In the past, she was also employed locally at the Naples Community Hospital and the Hazeldon Foundation.

Resnik obtained her master of science degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix in Orlando. She went on to complete a post masters psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program at the University of South Alabama.

Resnik is heavily involved with various nursing organizations. She is currently the President of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association Florida Chapter. Resnik is a member of the American Nurses Association, The International Nurses Honor Society Sigma Theta Tau, The Central Florida Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners Group, and the Golden Key National Honor Society in Education. Additionally, she has presented on PTSD and Co-occuring Personality Disorders at the Florida Psychiatric Nurses Association Chapter Conference.
