David Lawrence Centers Adds Three Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners to Medical Team

Naples, Fl – David Lawrence Centers, Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit mental health and addiction recovery treatment center serving children, adults and families, is pleased to announce the addition of three new Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners to the medical team.

Jean Evins Remy will serve as a part-time, Inpatient Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner providing services to children and adults on the Crisis Stabilization and Detoxification Units.

Remy was a licensed doctor of medicine in Haiti, where he earned his medical degree from Faculté de Médecine et de Pharmacie, Université d’Etat d’Haїti. Upon relocating to the United States, he earned his bachelor of science and master of science degrees in nursing from Florida International University graduating with honors.

Remy has more than 10 years of experience in the healthcare field having worked as a clinical technician, registered nurse and family nurse practitioner in hospitals, outpatient medical clinics and home health treatment settings—including posts locally at Naples Community Hospital, Millennium Physician Group, CVS, Humana and Korunda Pain Management Center.

Remy is a member of the Florida Nursing Association. He is fluent in Creole, French, and English.

Randall D. Cobb will serve as an Adult Outpatient Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. He has more 25 years of experience in mental health care as a registered nurse and an advanced registered nurse practitioner in private practice, correctional facilities, hospitals and inpatient crisis stabilization units.

Cobb earned his bachelor of social work and master of science degree in nursing from the University of South Florida.

America Gomez will serve as an Adult Outpatient Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.

Gomez was a licensed doctor of medicine in Venezuela, where she earned her medical degree from Los Andes University and practiced internal medicine. Upon relocating to the United States, she earned her bachelor of science and her master of science degrees in nursing from Florida International University.

Gomez has more than five years of experience in the healthcare field having served as a licensed practical nurse and registered nurse in hospitals, correctional facilities, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers and long-term care facilities in Oklahoma and Florida.

Gomez is a member of the American Nursing Association, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and American Academy of Psychiatry. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
