David Lawrence Centers Promotes Maggie Baldwin to Crossroads Clinical Director

Naples, Fl – David Lawrence Centers, Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit mental health and addiction recovery treatment center serving children, adults and families, is pleased to announce the promotion of Maggie Baldwin to Clinical Director of the Crossroads adult addiction recovery services. In this role, she will provide administrative and clinical oversight for the entire continuum of services that include inpatient detox, residential rehab, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and aftercare services. She will also play a key role in the development for new opioid addiction treatment services. In addition to her responsibilities with Crossroads, Baldwin will serve as the clinical internship coordinator for David Lawrence Centers .

Baldwin is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than 15 years of experience providing mental health and addiction treatment services to adults in outpatient, residential and inpatient treatment settings. She has experience in both private practice and community based treatment services.

Baldwin joined David Lawrence Centers in 2014 as a Crossroads Intensive Outpatient Services Clinician. She was promoted to Crossroads Clinical Supervisor in 2016, at which time she quickly and adeptly assumed the various duties associated with managing multiple intensive programs. While serving in this capacity, she assisted with developing medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services and trainings, supported the community naloxone initiative, and successfully managed specialized services for individuals with opioid use disorder.

Baldwin’s specialties include the utilization of holistic interventions, cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing to assist individuals in healing from addiction.

Baldwin earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Smith College and her Master of Science degree in mental health counseling from Nova Southeastern University. She has a qualified supervisor designation with the state of Florida.

Baldwin is an active member of the Gulf Coast Mental Health Counselors Inc. and the American Mental Health Counselors Association.
