David Lawrence Centers Welcomes Emily Budd as Associate Director of Development

 Naples, Fl – David Lawrence Centers, Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit mental health and addiction recovery treatment center serving children, adults and families, is pleased to announce the addition of Emily Budd as Associate Director of Development. In this capacity, she will manage and steward individual, corporate and foundation donors. She will also be responsible for overseeing special events to ensure the established financial goals are met. Emily will work collaboratively with the Chief Development Officer to develop and implement fundraising strategies to enhance the Center.

Emily Budd has more than five years of experience as a nonprofit professional specializing in event management, marketing, volunteer recruitment and customer service. Prior to joining David Lawrence Centers, she served as the Career Events and Marketing Coordinator for Florida Gulf Coast University, Executive Assistant to the CEO and Office Manager for Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce and Program and Events Coordinator for Champions for Learning.

Budd earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations with a minor in youth and nonprofit leadership from Murray State College in Kentucky. She is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration from Florida Coast University in Fort Myers. She is also a graduate of the Leadership Collier Foundation Growing Associates of Naples (GAIN) Class of 2014.

Budd is active in the community volunteering as a Mentor at Grace Place for Children and Families, Team Captain for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, Vice President and member of the Young Professionals of Naples.
