Naples, Fl – David Lawrence Centers, Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit mental health and addiction recovery treatment center serving children, adults and families, is pleased to announce the Center has been honored with the coveted Five Star Performance Award for outstanding performance outcomes in the Central Florida Behavioral Health Network (CFBHN) region which consist of 14 counties.

“This award serves as a wonderful affirmation to our hardworking clinical and administrative staff who make excellent care happen every day,” said Scott Burgess, CEO of David Lawrence Centers . “This award is a significant accomplishment and a testimony to staff empowerment, hard work, talent, and teamwork. It is a reflection of our commitment to providing the highest quality care for all we are privileged to help and our absolute dedication to ensure all achieve real and meaningful recovery from mental health and addiction challenges. “

The five-star award recognizes providers who have scored 95% or greater on the CFBHN performance scorecard. The scorecard is made up of compliance and outcome measures that help ensure that provider partners are performing at the highest level possible and, most importantly, guarantee consumers are receiving the services they and their families need.

The award program has moved performance throughout the region in a positive manner over the course of several years. Linda McKinnon, CFBHN President and CEO, observes that once levels are reached, organizations tend to stay high as reflected in collected data. She further stated, “Our goal is to develop and maintain a 5 Star Network that offers the highest level of service and recognizes the consistent high performers providing those services. Network wide performance is at 98.6% and while all our contracted providers provide

excellent service, this year’s award winners performed beyond 100%. CFBHN established five award categories based on performance requirements with the top 25% of each category receiving incentive awards.”
