Catrina Lowrance

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Clinician

Catrina works as a clinician in the Crossroads Intensive Outpatient Program using several different treatment modalities that both empower and instill hope in her clients. She enjoys incorporating music and mindfulness activities into her group and individual therapy sessions, which allows her clients to better identify with their emotions. Catrina has an interest in using narrative therapy to help clients recognize the way they are perceiving the story of their life while helping them rewrite it in a more self-empowering light.

Catrina’s experience with addiction started while completing her internship at an addiction treatment outpatient facility during her graduate program at Florida State University. During this internship, she discovered a passion for working in the field of addiction. After graduating with her master’s degree in Social Work, Catrina began working as a case manager with teenagers who were struggling with substance use. Through this work, Catrina helped clients navigate the court system, worked with their schools, and provided their families with additional resources and support. Catrina has been working in the Crossroads Continuum since 2017. She became licensed in Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) to continue empowering clients towards life changing wellness.
