Annual Giving and Events Officer

As DLC’s Annual Giving and Events Officer, Amanda Curbelo nurtures relationships with the organization’s individual supporters while also utilizing her event planning skills to curate DLC’s signature event and other community engagement events.  She is also the liaison for the well-known DLC Advocates affinity group.  Amanda is a dedicated professional originally from Massachusetts, known for her achievements in business management operations and health and human services. She’s also a Certified Events Manager. Amanda made her home in the Naples area in 2015 and quickly became a local standout in the fields of nonprofit organizations, marketing, fundraising, event planning, and donor relations.

Amanda’s career in development and event management reached new heights when she served as the Resource Development Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County from 2019 to December 2022.  Beyond her professional endeavors, Amanda is a passionate advocate for youth in Collier County, actively volunteering through coaching, mentoring, and support for those in the foster care system. Her dedication extends to her roles on the Board of the Fostering the Future Alliance and as a committee member for Camelot Community Care and the Think Pineapple Foundation. Amanda has received recognition for her outstanding contributions, including the Foster Parent Support of the Year award in 2017 and the prestigious 40 Under 40 award in 2021, highlighting her remarkable impact in the community through numerous hours of volunteer work over the years.
