Leadership and Legacy Gifts Officer

Marcy Friedland brings more than 10 years of development, leadership and planned giving experience to David Lawrence Centers. She has been instrumental in running annual, capital and endowment campaigns during her career in philanthropic development. In Southwest Florida she has successfully raised over $100M for local non-profits.

As DLC’s Leadership and Legacy Gifts Officer, Marcy is responsible for fostering relationships through both cultivation and stewardship, while working closely with the Vice President of Advancement.

Volunteering is a vital part of Marcy’s life as she is a Guardian Ad Litem with the 20th Judicial Circuit (Collier County), advocating for children in the dependency and family court systems. She was a recipient of the Outstanding Volunteer award from the Collier County’s Sheriff’s Office for her ongoing work with their Shop with a Sheriff program.

Spending time with her children and four grandchildren brings her immense joy. She also enjoys supporting cultural and philanthropic programming in the Naples area with friends. Hailing from Pennsylvania, she is an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.
