Registration Now Open for Chip in for DLC Golf Tournament

Naples, Fl – David Lawrence Centers for Behavioral Health (DLC), Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit behavioral health provider serving children, adults and families, will host the 10th Annual Chip in for DLC Golf Tournament on Friday, October 20, 2023, at the beautiful and exclusive Quail Creek Country Club, located at 13300 Valewood Drive in Naples.

Registration and the sit-down lunch program begin at 11:30 a.m., with tee-off set for 1 p.m. Guests will enjoy a beautiful, feel-good fall afternoon while supporting DLC’s life-saving, life-changing mental health and substance use treatment services – which are in high demand as children, adults and families in our community continue to cope with the psychological and financial impacts Hurricane Ian, coupled with the ongoing suicide crisis and opioid epidemic that continues to take more lives than ever before.

“Each year, nearly 200 individuals Chip In to raise critical funding for DLC, from golfers to those who support our participants as they hit the links,” said DLC Vice President of Advancement Kimberly Dye. “We are beyond grateful for our loyal and very engaged committee that plans this immersive experience for our community.”

The tournament will be played in an 18-hole scramble with four-person teams. Participants who enter as individuals will be placed on a team. Immediately following the tournament will be a brief awards reception with hors d’oeuvres.

Individual players are $300 per person and teams are $1,200 per foursome. Individual player fees include green fees and a cart, lunch, and the awards reception. In addition, golfers will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of raffles, skills challenges, and on course activities. A Super Ticket—which includes two mulligans, one super raffle entry, and a drink ticket—is available for $50.

All proceeds will benefit the mission, operations, and expansion of DLC’s innovative, comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based prevention and treatment services.

The event is being co-chaired by David Darwish and Michael Conroy.
