David Lawrence Centers Welcomes New Board Leadership, Launches New President’s Cabinet to Support Expansion

Naples, Fl – David Lawrence Centers for Behavioral Health (DLC), Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit behavioral health provider serving children, adults and families, has welcomed new volunteer leadership through the installation of its new board officers, the addition of five new or returning board members and the launch of its new President’s Cabinet.

This expansive community leadership engagement process comes on the heels of the announcement of the launch of the organization’s Hope for Collier: Building Stronger Minds Together Initiative that includes a significant investment in capital improvements and professional staff. This includes building new and renovating existing state-of-the-art buildings at DLC’s Bathey Lane campus along with construction of the nearby Collier County Behavioral Health Center that DLC will operate; adding vital new clinical services; and employing teams of highly trained and credentialed practitioners to make those services possible.

The diverse expertise, community stewardship and vast philanthropic endeavors of this new volunteer leadership – many with a long history of support for DLC and mental health advocacy – will support this desperately-needed and long-overdue investment in behavioral health that is necessary to position DLC to meet the demand for services in Collier County over the next 30 years.
