David Lawrence Centers Expands Advancement Team with Addition of Accomplished Fundraiser Marcy Friedland

Naples, Fl – David Lawrence Centers for Behavioral Health (DLC), Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit behavioral health treatment center serving children, adults and families, has welcomed Marcy Friedland to its growing Advancement Team.

Marcy Friedland will serve as the Leadership and Legacy Gifts Officer. She brings more than 10 years of development, leadership and planned giving experience to DLC. She has been instrumental in running annual, capital and endowment campaigns during her career in philanthropic development. In Southwest Florida, she has successfully raised over $100M for local non-profits for organizations such as Immokalee Fair Housing Alliance and the Jewish Federation of Greater Naples.

As DLC’s Leadership and Legacy Gifts Officer, Marcy is responsible for fostering relationships through both cultivation and stewardship, while working closely with the Vice President of Advancement.

Volunteering is a vital part of Marcy’s life as she is a Guardian Ad Litem with the 20th Judicial Circuit (Collier County), advocating for children in the dependency and family court systems. She was a recipient of the Outstanding Volunteer award from the Collier County’s Sheriff’s Office for her ongoing work with their Shop with a Sheriff program.

“We are excited to add Marcy to our advancement team to help meet the ever-increasing demand for behavioral health services in Collier County,” said DLC Vice President of Advancement Kim Dye. “We are grateful to have another accomplished, local fundraising professional on our team with a palpable passion for DLC’s mission of care.”
