Crossroads’ Addiction Specialist Featured in NBC-2 Story

NBC-2 has featured our very own addiction specialist, Nancy Dauphinais, and one of our patients who proudly shared his journey to recovery, in a story about the growth of prescription painkiller use in Lee and Collier Counties.

According to the article, this drug addiction has surpassed alcohol abuse in Lee and Collier Counties. “This used to be sort of the “back alley shadow” addiction. People [using] intravenously with drugs is now much more common,” Nancy states.
