David Lawrence Centers Installs New Officers

Naples, Fl – David Lawrence Centers for Behavioral Health (DLC), Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit behavioral health provider serving children, adults and families, has installed the following new officers to the Board of Directors:

Robert P. Magrann, a retired senior executive with extensive experience in the areas of sales, marketing, and strategic planning, will serve as Chairman. He joined the Board in 2016 and previously served as Vice Chairman, Secretary and as member of the Clinical Operations Committee, Development Committee and Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee. Prior to his retirement, Magrann was the Executive Vice President of Del Monte Foods and prior to that, he held leadership positions at Tetley, Nabisco, Borden, and other global brands.

Edward A. Morton, a former partner and consultant with Wasmer Schroeder, will serve as Vice Chairman and Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee.  He joined the Board in 2020 and brings more than 45 years of leadership, finance, strategic planning, and healthcare experience to his board position. Morton retired in 2021 after aiding Wasmer Schroeder in the successful completion in its transition to Schwab Asset Management. Prior to his 13 years with Wasmer Schroeder, he spent 34 years with NCH Healthcare System, Inc., serving as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Executive Officer.

Karen Mosteller, CPA, CHBC is the Strategic Medical Healthcare and Dental Consultant with Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Company, P.A. and will serve as Treasurer—a position she has held since 2020. She joined the Board in 2019 and Chairs the Finance and Audit Committee. She has more than 30 years of public accounting experience in the medical, construction, retail, and professional services industries. She is an award-winning Certified Public Accountant and Certified Healthcare Business Consultant.

Edward Boyer, a retired healthcare executive with more than 40 years of experience working in large hospital settings, will serve as Secretary. He joined the Board in 2018 and serves on the Strategic Planning Committee and will Chair the Clinical Operations Committee. Prior to his retirement in 2009, Boyer served as the Senior Vice President for Bon Secours Health System, a large, multi-state healthcare provider of hospital, long-term care and home health services.

Additional distinguished DLC Board of Directors include DLC President and CEO Scott Burgess, Immediate Past Chair Russell Budd, Sue Dillon, Rob Edwards, Laird Grant Groody, Mary Morton, Stephen Spahr, Chris Vernon, Jeffrey Yun as well as honorary Emeritus Board members Polly Keller and Collier County Sheriff Kevin J. Rambosk.
